DataKitchen: The DataOps Company: DataKitchen

DataKitchen's Story

DataKitchen’s mission is to make DataOps happen in the world.

In the early 2000s, Chris Bergh, Gil Benghiat, and Eric Estabrooks worked at a small company that offered a full suite of services related to data analytics. Because of the inherent complexity of data pipelines, they found that their teams were constantly challenged and frustrated by their inability to create innovative analytics, reduce embarrassing errors, and try new ideas. They believed there had to be a better way.

They found their answer by studying the software and manufacturing industries, which had been struggling with these same issues for decades. By applying the tools and methodologies from those industries, DataOps was born. The threesome decided to build their own DataOps software platform and start a company. Today, DataKitchen and the DataKitchen DataOps Platform help data professionals across the spectrum reclaim control of their data pipelines, deliver business value quickly, and get back to doing the cool things that they love to do.
