DataKitchen Strengthens Management Team with Key Executive Appointments

David Kershaw Joins as VP, Engineering and Beth Pfefferle as VP, Marketing

January 7, 2020 – DataKitchen, the leading provider of DataOps software that enables enterprises to reclaim control of data pipelines and deliver value instantly, without errors, today announced the appointment of two important executive team hires. David Kershaw has joined as the VP of Engineering and Beth Pfefferle as the VP of Marketing.

According to Chris Bergh, CEO and Head Chef at DataKitchen, “Interest in DataOps continues to accelerate dramatically driving rapid growth at DataKitchen. As a result, we are very excited to expand our executive team with two leaders who have extensive experience delivering results at fast-growing start-up companies.” Bergh continued, “Kershaw will provide important technical leadership as we expand our software platform and engineering team, while Pfefferle will guide the development of the DataKitchen brand and help us to tell our story to the world.”

Kershaw will report to Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer, Gil Benghiat, and will be responsible for software engineering. Previously he led analytical product development at Broad Institute, was Chief Architect at Clarivate Analytics, and was VP of Product Management at Burning Glass Technologies. “Joining DataKitchen is an exciting evolution in my efforts to simplify and deepen the role of analytics across industries,” said David. “DataOps and the DataKitchen team are making the world of sophisticated data processing and analysis more efficient and more robust than many people had thought possible.”

Kershaw received his BA from UMass Boston and his Masters from Harvard University.

Pfefferle will report to Bergh and will be responsible for all elements of the marketing strategy, branding, product marketing, and digital marketing. Previously she led marketing teams at both start-up and enterprise organizations, including Sungage Financial, Modo Labs, Boston Organics, and Smith & Nephew Endoscopy. “I am thrilled to join a team who are true thought leaders in the DataOps space and look forward to accelerating growth of the brand at such an exciting time in the industry,” said Pfefferle.

Pfefferle received her BA from Harvard College and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business.
