Gartner Puts DataOps on the Rise in 2018

Gartner Recognizes DataOps and DataKitchen in latest ‘Hype Cycle’

Great to see @Gartner_inc including #DataOps ‘On The Rise’ in the latest Hype Cycle for Data Management. “Of particular interest, DataOps was added to this year’s Hype Cycle. An analog to DevOps, DataOps focuses on predictable delivery and change management of data and represents a cultural change, supported by tooling and technology.” Hype Cycles provide a graphic representation of the maturity and adoption of technologies and applications, and how they are potentially relevant to solving real business problems and exploiting new opportunities.

Gartner is the leading technology analyst firm, and we are happy to see they finally recognize DataOps as a new thing. Thanks to Gartner Analysts @nheudecker @ehtisham_zaidi @databeyer and Sumit Pal!
